How Exactly Does This Work?
You simply choose the length of class you want and register for it from any Internet connected computer device. You can take it from your laptop, computer, Tablet or even Smartphone. Once registered, the class becomes immediately available to begin. The student reads through the material, takes short T/F quizzes and a final exam at the end. Once the final is passed with a 70% or better, a Certificate of Completion is awarded. The final can be retaken at no additional cost. The student can finish up the class quickly in one sitting or spread it out over weeks. It’s completely self-paced.

Delaware Divorce Laws
Delaware law views parents as natural joint custodians, unless a case is made otherwise. Each parent has the right to request and receive information about the child as it pertains to school, health, after school activities and religious events. Each parent also the right to contact the child via phone or mail. The court determines primary custody based on the best interests of the child, not based on the parent’s gender.
Delaware Parent Education Programs
All parents in Delaware who are going through a divorce with a child under 18 must attend a Parent Education Class unless specifically waived by the court. The class is designed to help parents cope with the stress of the divorce or separation, and guide them on how to successfully co-parent.
Senate Bill 234
As of 2012, Delaware became the first state to pass a controversial law that basically outlaws corporal punishment. It creates 3 levels of child abuse. Parents who are guilty of inflicting pain or physical injury to a minor can be convicted of a Class A misdemeanor and subjected to up to a year in prison. If the child is under the age of 3, the parent could serve up to 2 years. This state law forbids parents from hitting a child with a closed fist.
Delaware Customer Review
“I asked the judge if I could take my 6 hour parenting class online because I travel a lot for business and simply couldn’t make 6 consecutive classroom classes. I found this program engaging and easy to take from different locations while I was on the road. It made me reflect on how I’ve been handling certain behavior issues and I’ve already implemented some new tips. This is the way to go!” Jeremy G. – Milford, DE
